Mile High Animal Hospital of Aurora offers an extensive array of diagnostic equipment and options including x-rays, ultrasound, blood, urine, and fecal tests. We can perform many tests at our in-house lab, and more extensive testing through a third-party laboratory.
Radiology aka x-rays are an important diagnostic tool when we use to see what’s going on with your pet’s organs or bones. We use the most advanced, state-of-the-art, digital x-ray system for pets, and our staff is trained extensively on carefully handling your pet during radiology procedures.
Ultrasound is a comfortable, non-invasive diagnostic tool for evaluating internal organs, detecting tumors, signs of disease, pregnancies, and more. In some cases, ultrasound is more effective for diagnosing an issue than x-rays, such as better detecting a foreign body that your pet has swallowed.
